I think it would be helpful to set up task pages named after linux commands. The purpose of this would be to explain how that task would translate into different languages. This would make it easier to suggest tasks as someone could just list all the commands they can come up with. Some commands are useful for multiple tasks. In this case the page could link to each of them. A lot of these commands implement algorithms that could either be explained on the page or linked to. I've done this a little bit unintentionally.
