Hi. I'm AJ... and this is my rather hastily-constructed user page.

I've been a programmer for ... a while.

My first computer was a Sinclair ZX81.

I studied Computer Science at the University of Exeter (1986-1989), back in the days when a UK degree meant something.

I only really got programming in about 1992, while working for BP Oil. ... It just suddenly clicked one day (actually, it was one night - obviously?!).
