Actually I was viewing the source but didn't think to check it for the problem. I can't stand the WYSIWYG and have it turned off, although checking the preferences page (for wikEd) I see a few interesting options I haven't tried (must have forgotten that I wanted to do so when I switched editors last time).

Thanks for the link to wikEd! I have it installed via user JS and it looks to indeed be quite useful. Coincidentally, I just read an article (the apparent catalyst) yesterday which called for WYSIWYMs and spawned the Creole wiki markup language. --Jesdisciple (talk) 14:58, June 14, 2010 (UTC)
